If you have not visited us in Beaulieu recently you will notice some changes- most importantly we have installed a new entrance door alongside the old exit doors by the till. There are many reasons for the change, most notably preventing the likelihood of an accident as customers used to enter and exit across traffic. Also we are now fully equipped with only automatic doors!

So please come and see the changes for yourself and most importantly enjoy our carry to car compost service so you can avoid dragging heavy loads through the shop.

We hope you like our recently new style website-its been designed to be easier to navigate around and simpler. We’d love to hear if you have any thoughts on what you want to see!

Sadly after 40 years of good service our old greenhouse in the Car Park had to be demolished for safety reasons so there are a few more parking spaces now occupying its position. The seedlings for and the tomatoes for Patrick's Patch are now being grown at our nursery at Hill Top.

We are bursting with fantastic plants, furniture a the Learning Garden and gifts at the moment so if you haven’t paid us a visit for a while we look forward to welcoming you very soon.

Events

We will be celebrating our specialist plants at various times throughout the year.

At the moment we are celebrating Agapanthus followed later with Heucheras in October. 

we are planning lots of offers and activities, so please keep an eye out in store and here on our website.

Speciality Plants

We carry a wide range of Lavender, Heuchera and Agapanthus which are grown on our own nursery in Beaulieu.

We aim to carry a wide range of varieties throughout the season. If there is a particular variety you are looking for please call in advance to make sure we have it in stock.

Lavenders are one of the most evocative of garden plants- fragrant, sun loving, therapeutic and quintessentially English ! We offer a wide range of both English and French varieties, so whether you are wanting to replicate the fields on Provence or choose a variety for your patio we can supply plants in small 9cm pots and larger.

Don’t miss them when they are looking their best.

Heuchera are evergreen perennials which come in a wide range of leaf colours and forms making them perfect for containers, baskets and the border. Their foliage offers a fantastic array of colours from purple, brown, silver, caramel to acid yellow. Some forms also carry wonderful flowers. Many of the new varieties are being bred in the US, and through via our wholesale nursery’s connections we are able to offer the latest of new selections.

We will have a special display of Heuchera in October.

Agapanthus are elegant and exotic, reminding us of holidays to warmer climes. But they are well suited to being grown in this country and by offering a wide range of the latest varieties you can choose from a wide range of colours and a variety of different habits.
